Durante Technologies ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Durante platform and the duranteos.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information (processed by Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers directly.

1.2 Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics including page views, feature usage patterns, and session duration to improve the platform. We do not track individual user behavior for advertising purposes.

1.3 Data You Process Through Durante

Durante runs locally on your machine. Your code, files, memory data (MemPalace), knowledge graphs, and AI conversation history remain on your local filesystem. We do not have access to, collect, or store any data processed locally by Durante.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain your account and subscription
To process payments through Stripe
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing)
To improve platform performance and reliability
To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Stripe — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic (Claude API) — AI model provider. Your use of Claude Code is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Railway — Infrastructure hosting. Subject to Railway's Privacy Policy.

When you use Durante skill packs that connect to external AI providers (OpenAI, Google, xAI, Perplexity, ElevenLabs, Replicate), your data is sent to those providers according to their respective privacy policies. These connections are initiated by you through your local Durante installation.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication (Better Auth with 2FA support), and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Export your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent for optional data processing

For Brazilian users: your rights under the LGPD (Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados) are fully respected. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
